Habitat for Humanity of Pueblo

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Habitat relies almost exclusively on volunteers to accomplish its mission. If you are interested, please let us know. Talk to one of our Board members, call our volunteer coordinator at 719-406-0591, or fill out the form below and we will call you. Work is done on the jobsite on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weather permitting, except holiday weekends and we occasionally work on Mondays. Anyone over age 14 is welcome, regardless of skill level. We will show you what to do. Opportunities to volunteer are available in our ReStore, on committees, and on our Board of Directors. Currently there are openings on our Board of Directors including positions for individuals living in Hyde Park, Eastwood Heights, or on the East side of Pueblo.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS WISHING TO WORK AT A JOBSITE:

Volunteer: Please do not register unless you plan on working for the entire session.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and 14 and 15 year-olds cannot perform general construction functions. They can help clear lots, paint and help landscape. Volunteers 16 and 17 years old cannot use power tools nor be involved in demolition, roofing or excavation.

Medical Release Forms are necessary in order to volunteer. Please print out the appropriate form, sign, and bring with you to the work site.

Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Please call 719-406-0591 if you would like to work but cannot be on site during the whole work session.
