Stefka Czarnecki Fanchi, Executive Director

Stefka holds a Bachelor degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University and a Master of Arts in International Management with a specialization in Sustainable Development. Stefka's background is in large-scale non-profit fundraising, and she has held executive level development positions with statewide nonprofits and municipal government. She has raised over $50 million dollars over the course of her career, and was recognized in 2008 as one of the Denver Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 and in 2009 as one of Midwest CEO Magazine’s Most Influential Women.

 

Karen Kallenberg, Director of Capacity Building

Karen comes to HFHC from Habitat for Humanity International, where in her ten year tenure she developed programs for campus chapters, provided consultation, training, and support to affiliates across the country, coordinated the 2003 Jimmy Carter Work Project and helped to organize the 2008 Home Builders’ Blitz. She has led five Global Village trips to build homes around the world. Karen holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s of Arts in Nonprofit Management from Regis University where she was inducted into the Jesuit National Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu.

 

Letitia Horace, Director of Operations

Letitia has spent more than half her professional career working with organizations that provide safe, decent affordable housing. Her experience includes managing multi-million dollar operational and departmental budgets as well as real estate portfolios that have included residential and commercial properties. Letitia was recently selected to participate in the highly selective Real Estate Diversity Initiative program hosted by Urban Land Institute in partnership with the City & County of Denver’s Office of Economic Development. She is a native of Texas and holds a Political Science degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

 

Jennie Bills, Financial Support Specialist

Jennie is a Colorado Native. For the last fourteen years she has specialized in book keeping and financial management in the nonprofit arena, working with a variety of organizations as a consultant with Management Partners, and holding accounting and mortgage servicing positions with Habitat for Humanity affiliates. Jennie brings a unique understanding of nonprofit and Habitat-specific financial issues, and a passion for the work Habitat for Humanity does in Colorado and around the world.

 

 

Laura Hodges, Administrative Coordinator

laura-hodgesLaura Hodges joins Habitat for Humanity of Colorado with more than 6 years of professional experience in the non-profit arena.  Her background is highlighted by more than 8 years of office management and administration, with a strong focus on affordable housing.  Additionally, she has an extensive volunteer background spanning more than a decade.  Laura enjoys her work with HFHC and looks forward to the opportunity of meeting as many HFH affiliate staff as possible.
