About the Conference
Habitat for Humanity of Colorado will sponsor its third annual conference on May 6-9, 2009 at the YMCA Camp of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. Last year’s conference brought together over 200 individuals from 35 communities across Colorado and Wyoming.
This year is all about celebrating-celebrating families, celebrating volunteers, celebrating partners, celebrating YOU! In November 2008, affiliates across Colorado will celebrate a huge milestone- the dedication of 1,000 homes built—and even more significantly celebrating the 1,000 families now living in simple, decent, affordable houses throughout the state. Habitat of Colorado and affiliates will celebrate this accomplishment while we make plans for the next 1,000 homes to be built in 3 years!
Camp Colorado is the largest gathering of affiliates in the state bringing together board members, staff, volunteers, community representatives, business partners, local government officials and the faith community.
In addition to celebrating a 1,000 homes built across Colorado, the conference will provide an opportunity for Colorado and Wyoming affiliates to build capacity for the future through attending workshops, networking and sharing best practices and developing partnerships with sponsors and exhibitors.
